ROGERSVILLE - Capital Bank, N.A. has announced the appointment of Frank Proffitt as Consumer Group Manager for Greene, Hamblen and Hawkins counties.
According to a Capital Bank news release, Proffitt's new responsibilities will include sales and deposit growth in his region, referrals to bank business partners, revenue production, controlling branch expense, operational integrity, and effective management of consumer loan past dues and problem loans as well as ensuring high priority exceptions are cleared in a timely manner.
Proffitt has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology.
During his 34 year banking career, Proffitt has been a Federal Bank branch Manager, Credit Officer and Regional Vice President for West Kentucky and West Tennessee.
He was the Special Assets Officer for Tennessee Farm Credit Services, Special Assets Officer for Dominion Bank, and Regional Executive and City President for First Union Bank in Shelbyville and Rogersville before joining Greene County Bank in 1999.
Proffitt is an active participant in the community, and has served in leadership positions on numerous boards including, Leadership Hawkins, Hawkins County New Century Council, Rogersville/Hawkins County Chamber of Commerce, Rogersville Rotary Club, Rogersville First United Methodist Council and One Accord Ministries.
A native of Decatur, Proffitt now resides in Rogersville..
