Corley's Pharmacy, Corley's Pharmacy Solutions, and Atchley Drug Center have achieved the Award of Accreditation from The Compliance Team, based in Spring House, Pa.
The award is achieved after home medical equipment companies demonstrate a high level of quality practices in their business operations and patient care techniques., according to a news release.
Corley's and Atchley's earned the three-year accreditation after completing a comprehensive application that focuses on patient care, financial stability, and a commitment to quality operational practices and procedures, the news release said.
Accreditation by The Compliance Team assures Medicare and other payers that the highest levels of quality are practiced in all areas of the company, the release stated.
"We sought accreditation by The Compliance Team to demonstrate that our company is committed to providing excellent patient care and safety in a financially responsible environment," said Will Giddings, pharmacist/owner of Atchley's, at 511 Asheville Hwy.
"This award also reinforces that our commitment to quality is ongoing," said Alan Corley, president/owner of Corley's, at 1004 Snapps Ferry Road.

ABOUT THE PHARMACIES
Corley's Pharmacy was established in 1976.
Pharmacists Bill, Mareta and son, Alan Corley, purchased Kay Drug Store (previously Jaynes Drug Store).
Through the years, the family-owned pharmacy has developed into what today is Corley's Pharmacy, Corley's Pharmacy Solutions and Atchley Drug Center.
The original pharmacy, located on Snapps Ferry Road, employs three other full time pharmacists, Jennifer Harrell, Adrienne Kincaid, and Judi Beard.
The Solutions store, limited to special packaging needs and located on Tusculum Blvd., at 1016 Tusculum Blvd., employs another full-time pharmacist, Kelly Johnson, and two part-time pharmacists, Suzanne Wagner and Teresa Strange.
The purchase of Atchley Drug Center in 2011 brought in pharmacist and partner Giddings and pharmacist Jarrett Whitson, who works at both Corley's and Atchley's.
