Auctioneer Kent (Crowe) Ward, owner of the Crow's Nest Auction House, is available for auction needs ranging from charity, fundraisers, estate sales, storage liquidation, auto, heavy equipment, and more.
Ward is a graduate of Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in High Point, N.C., and is a 1982 graduate of Chuckey-Doak High School.
The Crow's Nest Auction House is currently accepting quality consignments daily in the old Magnavox Plant No. 1 on Irish Street. Entry to the building is at 109 E. Hardin St., across from Amy's Restaurant.
Ward said his commission rate is 20 percent to consign items.
Regular auctions are held at 6.30 p.m. every Friday.
Ward, who grew up in the Clear Springs community, is a licensed auctioneer in Tennessee and North Carolina.
He is married to Ann Francis, a native of Jonesborough, who is Chief Executive Operations Officer of the business.
The Crow's Nest Auction House recently moved to Greeneville from Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., where the business was the highest-grossing auction company in Brunswick County, N.C., according to Ann Francis Ward.
