ETSU, Partnership Host Update On Affordable Care Act

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at East Tennessee State University and the Greene County Partnership will host a free Affordable Care Act update on Thursday, Aug. 15.

The event will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Partnership offices.

Many aspects of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, are still unclear.

Business owners want to know how this healthcare policy will affect their business, and the workshop is designed to explain health care changes and costs, as well as provisions of the act, according to a news release.

Personnel from the U.S. Small Business Administration's Nashville District Office will lead the workshop.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Partnership at 638-4111 to register.

Attendance will be limited so reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
