Greeneville may be on the list of cities to welcome East Coast Wings & Grill, a new-to-East-Tennessee restaurant that's opening its first store in Johnson City.

The company plans to expand into the Tri-Cities area over the next eight years, according to a news release.

East Coast Wings & Grill will be moving into 198 Marketplace Blvd., Suite B130, in Johnson City, and opening its doors for business in the middle of the first quarter of 2014.

The second East Coast Wings & Grill will open in Kingsport about a month after the first location opens in Johnson City.

According to projections, an additional location will open each subsequent quarter of next year across the East Tennessee region, which could include Elizabethton, Greeneville, Bristol, Abingdon, Va., and Marion, Va.

Bob Feathers, one of the management members of Kingsley Investment Group, LLC, said in the news release that "Our focus will be all about customer experience.

"We really want families to come into our restaurants and say, 'Gosh, I really want to come back here again' because of the perfectly prepared food, a value-priced proposition, extraordinary service, family-friendly atmosphere and a great glass of wine or draft beer."

There are currently 28 locations in the country.
