Doug Henard has been promoted to the position of agency manager of the Greene County Farm Bureau's Mosheim office.
He began his new role on Oct. 1.
Henard was contracted with Tennessee Farmers Insurance Company, a Farm Bureau subsidiary, in 2005 as an agent in the Hawkins County-Rogersville office.
A Bulls Gap resident, Henard received his bachelor of business administration degree at East Tennessee State University in 2004.
He is a Chartered Financial Consultant®, a Chartered Life Underwriter®, and is a member of the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship®.
"I truly enjoy my profession," Henard said in a news release. "I am really looking forward to serving Greene County in my new role at the Greene County Farm Bureau's Mosheim office."
Henard and his wife, Connie, have two sons and a daughter and attend East Rogersville Baptist Church.
Farm Bureau Insurance was founded in 1948; it is the state's number one writer of individual life insurance and the second largest writer of home and auto policies.
It has offices in more Tennessee communities than any other insurer. There are 450 agents in 169 offices across the state.
