The Donaldson Company, Inc. has again awarded its "Top Performing Strategic Supplier" award to LMR Plastics, of Greeneville.
Each year Donaldson evaluates its suppliers based on the company's Donaldson Buys Value program (DBV).
An LMR news release explained Wednesday that the DBV program rates Donaldson suppliers' performance in the areas of quality, service (including delivery), continuous improvement and cost support, an LMR news release explained.
The DBV program recognizes Strategic Suppliers who meet or exceed performance criteria and have a high unit volume, high dollar volume, and/or provide a critical part, material, or service to Donaldson.
This is the fifth year in a row that LMR Plastics has received such recognition as a top performer, the release noted.
The award was presented by The Donaldson Company on Oct. 4 in Minneapolis, Minn., where the Donaldson headquarters is located.
"The LMR team continues to deliver dedicated customer service to Donaldson Company, and we are pleased that they have recognized us again with this award," said Bob Leonard, president of LMR Plastics.
"To be one of the 15 chosen from over one thousand worldwide approved suppliers is a source of continued pride and accomplishment for LMR Plastics."
