Greeneville Federal Bank has announced the addition of Greene County native George Scott to the bank's lending staff.

Scott brings more than a decade of experience in the financial industry to his new position as Assistant Vice President.

He will be working at Greeneville Federal's Fairgrounds Plaza branch, at 2305 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy.

"George is a solid individual with the customer service skills and financial expertise that make him a good fit for Greeneville Federal," Brandon Hull, President and CEO, stated in a news release. "We are delighted to have him on board."

Scott has been employed in the financial services industry for more than 13 years.

He was previously employed by Capital Bank as a loan officer and branch manager.

Scott is a 1996 graduate of Greeneville High School and a 2001 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting.

He and his family attend Trinity United Methodist Church. He is active in the Kiwanis Club and with Junior Achievement.

"I look forward to the opportunity of once again working for a truly local bank such as Greeneville Federal," Scott said.

"They are a strong institution and have been an important part of our community for over half a century," Scott said of Greeneville Federal.

"I have always appreciated the fact that Greeneville Federal gives back to our community and am pleased to now be a part of it," Scott added.
