New State Farm Insurance agent Jaron Snoeyenbos has opened an office at 1319 Tusculum Blvd., Suite 1, in the Greeneville Commons, next to Burkes Outlet.

Prior to becoming a State Farm agent, Snoeyenbos worked for a State Farm agent in Knoxville for four years.

He and his wife, Jessica, have been East Tennessee residents for eight-plus years, and Snoeyenbos received his degree from the University of Tennessee.

"My goal is to help the people of Greeneville and the surrounding communities to manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.

"Being a State Farm agent fuels my desire to make a difference in the lives of the people around me," Snoeyenbos said in a news release from State Farm.

"I have always wanted to own my own business, and State Farm offered a way for me to really enjoy what I do," he said.

"This career allows me to work directly with people to prepare for the future and provide financial security for their families."

The office includes three staff members: Ann Craig, Lauren Hurst, and Brooke Shipley, who will help customers with their insurance and financial services needs.

Snoeyenbos and his wife, Jessica, are very active in the community, the release stated. He is a member of the Greene County Partnership. She is assistant director of the Alumni Relations Department at Tusculum College.
