A routine traffic stop early this morning resulted in the arrest of two Jonesborough residents on charges related to criminal impersonation.
Roy A. Luster, of Hallborough Drive, Jonesborough, and Phyliss Reed, of Parson Circle, Jonesborough, were in a vehicle stopped by an officer with the Greene County Sheriff's Department at approximately 1:45 a.m. today.
Warrants on file at the Sheriff's Department indicate the two provided a false identity and date of birth for Luster, who is apparently wanted in Washington County.
Luster was charged with criminal impersonation. Reed, his girlfriend, was charged with being a party to the offense of criminal impersonation.
Both were arrested and transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
Bond was set at $1,000 each with court appearances scheduled for today.
