Two women and a man will appear today in General Sessions Court after a quantity of mehamphetamine and narcotic pills were found early Sunday in the room they occupied at the Andrew Johnson Inn, 2145 East Andrew Johnson Hwy.
Greeneville police received calls "of excessive traffic" out of a first-floor room rented to Elizabeth Marie Bailey, 28, of 171 Snapps Ferry Park, Officer Roy Milton said in a report.
Officers knocked on the door of the room, and Brandon Travis Malone, 34, of 596 Duncan Lane, Chuckey, opened it.
Malone "was intoxicated," the report said.
Also in the room was Laura Elizabeth Buckner,18, who is listed on the report as homeless.
"I spoke to the two females in the room (and) asked what all the traffic in and out of the room was. They stated they had no idea, but we could come in and look around," the report said.
Several cut straws, syringes "and bottle caps with cotton in them" were found in the bathroom, the report said.
A further room search turned up three grams of methamphetamine in five plastic bags.
"Two were under the microwave, two were in the pocketbook of (Bailey) and one was behind the 'fridge," the report said.
Three hydrocodone pills and about 15 small plastic bags were found in the air conditioning unit, and a syringe was found in the bathroom light fixture, the report said.
A pipe used to smoke meth was found under the mattress of the bed, wrapped in cloth, the report added.
Bailey, Buckner and Malone were all charged with possession of a Schedule II drug for resale, simple possession of a Schedule II drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bond was set at $10,000 each pending their first court appearance.
