A black Angus bull was stolen between Thursday night and Friday morning from a field in the 1300 block of McDonald Road, sheriff's Lt. Jakie Christy said in a report.
The "small black Angus bull" is valued at $400.
Sheriff's deputies are also investigating the possible theft of a baby calf between Oct. 12 and Saturday from a field in the 2600 block of Rheatown Road.
The owner said the calf was only three days old when it was discovered missing.
"They first noticed it missing a week ago, but thought it may have died, so they continued to look for it. They haven't found it and have no idea who may have taken it," the report said.
No value for the animal is listed.
