Anthony J. Harmon II did not go easily after he was charged Friday night with driving under the influence, Greeneville police said in a report.
Harmon, 26, of 307 Rhea Circle, is also charged with resisting arrest, assault on anofficer, aggravated assault, failure to exercise due care and having no proof of vehicle insurance.
About 7:35 p.m. Friday, Harmon passed two vehicles in the center lane of East Andrew Johnson Highway, “then pulled back in front of the vehicle and hit his brakes, causing a collision,” a report by Sgt. Eric Scott said.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash told police that Harmon allegedly got out of his car “in an aggressive manner brandishing a baseball bat,” causing the other driver to fear for his safety and the safety of his family.
