'Braves Days' This Weekend At DeBusk Elementary School

DeBusk Elementary School will host the 5th Annual "Braves Days" this Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free.

This event will feature live local musicians including, Bethany and Jerry Scott, Railroad Angels, Gospel Proclaimers and Step Cousins.

Other family festivities include a 5K race, 3-on-3 basketball, car show, motorcycle ride, vendor booths, "DeBusk's Got Talent" and Funville inflatables.

Friday's events begin at 3 p.m. with "Come and Get It First" vendor booths, food for purchase, and, for $5, an arm band, an access to Funville inflatables and a dance.

Saturday's features begin with the 5K race line-up at 7:45 a.m. Vendor booths open at 8 a.m.

The 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be at 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, car enthusiasts can show off their ride at the "Braves Days" Car Show with registration at 10 a.m. and the showcase of cars at 11 a.m.

Registration for the scenic Hot Springs, N.C., motorcycle run begins at 11 a.m. with the ride departing at 11:30 a.m. from DeBusk School.

Live entertainment -- including a wide variety of genres from bluegrass and gospel to country and more -- will be on stage from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Registration begins at 2 p.m. for the "DeBusk's Got Talent" Show, with the show to follow at 3 p.m.
