Greeneville police are investigating several thefts from vehicles.
A 30-year-old woman told police that a Aeropostale purse containing identification, medication and other possessions was taken Monday from her car, which was parked in the 400 block of Asheville Highway.
A women living in the 200 block of Britton Street told police Monday her unlocked car was entered within the last week while it was parked in her driveway. She found the driver's side door partially open on Monday, a report said.
A GPS unit, checks and medication were stolen, the report said.
A CD player was ripped out of the dashboard of a sport utility vehicle between Saturday and Monday while it was parked on the lot of Car City, 705 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy., a report said.
The business owner said a "triangle" side window of the SUV was broken out "and someone had done heavy damage to the dash of the vehicle in order to take [the] CD player," a report said. The CD player is valued at $50. Damage to the dashboard and window is $650.
Batteries were recently stolen out of four vehicles parked on the used car lot, the owner told police.
