A Chuckey man who allegedly used a pickup truck to push a car about 200 yards down East McKee Street Sunday night is charged with aggravated domestic assault and other offenses, Greeneville police Officer Roy Milton said in a report.
Kendrick R. Eastepp, 18, of 142 Fox Road, is also charged with two counts of aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident and having no vehicle insurance.
Police were called to East McKee Street at Main Street about 10 p.m. Sunday, "where another vehicle had been pushed up the road about 200 yards [by Eastepp's] pickup truck," the report said.
The alleged victim told police that Eastepp was her ex-boyfriend.
He "did push her from about Bernard up East McKee" to the 200 block of East McKee Street, the report said.
The driver and a passenger "were in fear for their lives," the report said.
The driver was able to stop her car in the parking lot of a business. Eastepp allegedly fled the scene.
The passenger in the car being pushed is pregnant, the report said.
The two counts of aggravated assault were filed on behalf of the passenger "and her fetus," the report said.
Eastepp is held on no bond, pending a first scheduled General Sessions Court appearance on Wednesday.
