Sheriff's deputies are seeking a knife-wielding man who held up the Zoomerz Market at 13425 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy. in Bulls Gap on Friday night.
The robbery happened at 10:42 p.m. Friday, Deputy Brandon Baskette said in a report.
The clerk told deputies a man entered the store, approached the counter and "he told her to give him all the money," the report said.
The man then "jumped the counter and told her to open the cash register and give him the money or he would cut her," the report said.
The suspect made the clerk lie on the floor.
"The knife he had was shaped funny, like a hunting knife," the clerk told deputies.
The man jumped back over the counter and fled the store with $460, the report said.
He is described as being between 5-feet-5 and 5-feet-8 inches tall, was wearing a black sweatshirt or a hoodie, and "had something black on his head."
The suspect has long hair, "possible fuzz on (his) lip and maybe chin (hair)," the report said.
A possible suspect who frequents the store is named in the report.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Greene County Sheriff's Department at (423) 798-1800.
