Sheriff's deputies are investigating a burglary between Wednesday and Thursday at the Baileyton Restaurant, 40 Baileyton Park, sheriff's Deputy Michael Jones said in a report.
An employee arriving for work about 4:50 a.m. Thursday found a large rock that had been thrown through the front door glass, the report said.
Entry was made through the door. Three cash registers were opened and one was destroyed, the report said.
An attempt was also made to get into a floor-mounted lockbox, the report said.
About $5 in change was taken. Damage to the front door glass and cash register totals $800.
A possible male suspect is named in the report.
About $100 was stolen from the restaurant in another theft that occurred between June 5 and 6, a report filed earlier this month said.
