Daniel Morrison, 39, of 115 Shady Grove Road, was charged Wednesday with two counts of aggravated domestic assault following a dispute with relatives at the house, sheriff's deputies said in several reports.
The incident began when a relative would not give Morrison keys to a truck. He left the house on foot and later returned and allegedly broke 10 windows and damaged two televisions, a microwave oven, a light and other property, a report said.
Morrison allegedly threatened relatives with a shovel and damaged a truck with it before leaving on foot again, a report said.
Deputies received a call about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday that Morrison had returned and was breaking out windows in the house.
When he approached one relative with the shovel, the relative went to his nearby house, returned with a 9 mm pistol and fired it in the air "to scare Daniel away," a report said.
Morrison fled on foot when deputies arrived and was apprehended in woods in back of the house, a report said.
His first General Sessions Court date is scheduled for Friday.
