Damage to a double-wide mobile home destroyed by fire last week at 4193 Blue Springs Parkway has been estimated at $100,000, sheriff's Deputy Mark McLain said in a report.

The owner of the mobile home is identified as Robert Armitage, of Greeneville.

The cause of the fire in the unoccupied mobile home remains under investigation.

Members of the Town of Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department responding to the blaze about 2:45 a.m. on May 23 found the structure "fully involved with fire," fire department Assistant Chief James Foshie said.

There were no injuries.

The house was unoccupied, but power was on inside the structure, Foshie said.

"The fire quickly spread to an attached garage on the end of the home," he said.
