Work to replace a partially-rusted-out 48-by-72 inch storm drain has begun on North College Street. Crews were working Monday in a parking lot at Walters State Community College, the site where the community college is planning a major expansion. The Greeneville Department of Public Works has contracted with the Greene County Road Department to complete the project, which should be finished by late March, according to Brad Peters, Greeneville Public Works Department director and town engineer.
