The Greene County Election Commission, Greeneville Light & Power offices, other businesses and organizations have announced early closures on Wednesday afternoon due to weather conditions.

Election Commission

A spokesman for the Greene County Election Commission has announced that because of the current and expected inclement weather conditions, the commission office closed today shortly before 3:30 p.m.

The spokesman said that plans for Thursday are not yet definite and will depend on the severity of the weather.

Individuals who are planning to come to the Election Commission office on Thursday are asked to telephone the office first to check on whether it is open. The telephone number is 798-1715.
