ACCENT EDITOR

The Greeneville Sun will be participating in Main Street: Greeneville's Halloween Happenings by sponsoring a "Harvest's Bounty Apple & Pumpkin Pie Contest."

The event is open to anyone 18 years of age and older.

All an individual has to do is show up at the conference room at the Sun with his or her pie and the recipe on Thursday, Oct. 31, by 10 a.m.

The judging will take place, and winners will be announced by noon!

The pies will be judged on appearance, taste, and simplicity of recipe.

The winners will receive $50 gift cards from Food City, $25 gift certificates from Richland Creek Gifts, and Niswonger Performing Arts Center tickets to the NPAC's Christmas show with Debby Boone.

Anyone having questions may phone ACCENT Editor Kathy Knight at 359-3158 or e-mail to (kathy.knight@greenevillesun.com)
