Fresh Mowing Of Medians
Makes Plenty Of Difference

Sun photo by O.J. Early

Mowing along grassy areas of U.S. 11E in Greeneville and Greene County began late last week — several days ahead of schedule. According to Mark Nagi, TDOT community relations officer for this region, mowing in Greene County should be finished today. Scott Orr is the the contractor for this mowing season, and he has mowed once in the county this year. He was not scheduled to begin mowing for the second time until July 30. This before-and-after photo was taken near a traffic light on East Andrew Johnson Highway (U.S. 11E), near Capital Bank in east Greeneville.
