Greeneville Board Meets Tues.; Police At Schools On Agenda

The Greeneville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the G. Thomas Love Board Room.

The agenda includes consideration of Greeneville City Schools' security options, including discussion of officers posted at each of the schools.

The board will also consider a town-wide sick leave donation policy.

There will be a public hearing, and consideration will be given on first reading of the updated municipal floodplain zoning ordinance.

Consideration will be given on first reading of a request for rezoning of 0.42 acres on Greene County Tax Map 110G, Group B, Parcel 010.00 from R-2 (medium density residential) to B-4 (arterial business), located at 106 Idletime Drive.

Consideration of consent will be given to an assignment for the solid waste disposal agreement.
