About 2,400 people attended the 42nd Annual Holiday Bazaar and Expo sponsored by the GFWC of Tennessee Greeneville Woman's Club, held over the weekend at Hal Henard Elementary School. According to a club spokesperson, the vendors were very pleased with sales. The most popular items appeared to be Christmas decorations such as wreaths, trees, and ornaments, monogrammed shirts, scarves, and jewelry. Thanks to the success of the event, the spokesperson said, it is anticipated that the Woman's Club will have about $10,000 to put back into the community for its projects in conservation, education, home life, international affairs, public affairs, and the arts.
