This year's performance of The Greeneville Kiwanis Kapers is celebrating the weird, wacky world of outer space with some favorite TV and movie characters - as only the local Kiwanians can present them.
This year's theme "Lost in Space" takes some of this community's favorite "actors and dancers" out of this world.
"The annual Kapers production has featured some of Greeneville's finest talent through the years, and this year is no exception," a press release states.
The Kapers provides an evening of fun and family entertainment while celebrating many of the enjoyable moments audiences have shared with The Coneheads and others.
John Lamons, Kapers director, and his able crew are bringing back some of the classic spacey moments from movies and television. The show blends the classics with new and entertaining acts.
The Kapers will be performed at the Annie Hogan Byrd Auditorium on the campus of Tusculum College at 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday, March 9.
Tickets are $10 and are available at Greeneville Federal Bank's main office, Crestview Animal Hospital, Dr. Brad Strange's office, The Greeneville Sun, Dr. John Lamons' office, Laughlin Memorial Hospital or Takoma Regional Hospital, and at the door.
Tickets can also be purchased by contacting Dale Long at 359-3151 or 329-0400, or Artie Wehenkel at 359-3160 or 470-2397.
