Learning Child Safety Tips

Sun photo by Ken Little

David Neas, left, listens as Greeneville firefighter Michael Kinser explains how to correctly install a child safety seat. The Greeneville Fire Department observed National Child Passenger Safety Month on Saturday with a “child car seat checkpoint” in the parking lot of the Food City store on the Asheville Highway. Kinser and other fire department members performed free child passenger safety seat inspections and installations. Neas said he became a first-time grandfather last week.
