A 43-year-old Greeneville man was arrested Thursday on a charge of solicitation of a minor.
Erik L. Bursley, of 165 Twin Barns Road, Apt. 3, was charged with soliciting a 17-year-old Chuckey-Doak High School student, said Tusculum Master Patrolman Dustin Jeffers in a report.
The girl reported that she had been receiving text messages from Bursley. He was allegedly texting her asking for sex, the report said.
The girl turned the phone over to the Tusculum Police Department, where texts were monitored until Bursley could be located, said Jeffers.
According to Jeffers, Bursley said he understood that the girl was a minor.
He was arrested for solicitation of a minor, with bond set at $25,000.
