A traffic stop following a report of a domestic disturbance yielded an arrest on Monday, according to a report by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Anthony Pruitt.
Pruitt stopped a Ford F-150 matching the description of the vehicle in which the suspect, 20-year-old Jeffery A. Hinkle, of 1375 Raders Sidetrack Road, was reported to have left the scene of the domestic disturbance.
Pruitt searched the vehicle, which reportedly belonged to a man who was the passenger.
That man identified a lock box containing two syringes, numerous orange and blue zip-lock bags, a cut straw and a leafy green substance believed to be marijuana as belonging to Hinkle.
Hinkle was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a Schedule VI controlled substance.
