An especially aggravated burglary reportedly occurred on Friday between 1 and 3:30 p.m. at a home on the first block of Mays Street.

Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Greg Tipton said in the report that the victim said he entered his home and encountered someone with a gun who told him to shut his door.

The victim told police the gun-holder told him that he would be shot if he called police. Then someone hit him over the back of the head, he said, knocking him out.

He reportedly regained consciousness to find missing two televisions, a Blu-ray player and a change purse valued at $650.

The victim told police that he saw a Toyota 4Runner circle the block twice just prior to the incident.

No suspects were listed in the report.
