A Patron Loop resident was threatened by a man who came to his front door about 2 p.m. Sunday, sheriff's Deputy Michael MacDonald said in a report.

The alleged victim told deputies that when he answered a knock on his front door, a man "shoved a gun into his throat and forced his way into his residence," the report said.

The man told the homeowner that he was owed money "and he needed to pay him back," the report said.

The alleged victim told deputies he didn't know what the assailant was referring to. He recognized the man but said he had not seen him in about six years, the report said.

The man was accompanied by a woman brandishing an ax, the report said.

The male suspect was carrying a 9 mm handgun.

He told the alleged victim "that he was going to put a propane tank on his porch and shoot it if he didn't pay his money back," the report said.

No injuries were reported.

The man and woman left in a silver-color Silverado Chevrolet pickup truck with running lights on top.

The suspect is between 30 and 40 years old, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds and with black hair and a beard. He was wearing a black T-shirt and a hat, the report said.

A possible male suspect and a possible female suspect are named in the report.
