Sheriff's deputies are investigating an armed robbery about 9:05 p.m. Thursday at the Quick Stop Market at 8160 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy., in Mosheim.
A white male wearing a ski mask entered the store and "brandished a red box cutter and demanded money," sheriff's Sgt. Earl Mysinger said in a report.
The female clerk opened the cash register and gave the man $439, the report said.
The robber fled on foot. There were no injuries.
