A man who allegedly threatened to bring a hand grenade to Laughlin Memorial Hospital and "blow it up" Sunday was later charged with a felony count of filing a false report, police said.
Paul Edward Langer, 40, of Watauga, was unable to obtain information in a phone call to the hospital about a relative who was a patient, Officer James Craft said in a report.
A receptionist told police Langer had called and said "that he was going to bring a hand grenade to the hospital and blow it up," the report said.
Langer was arrested on a warrant.
Bond was set at $10,000. He was scheduled to appear Wednesday in General Sessions Court.
