A woman who allegedly used drugs with her teenage children was arrested Tuesday on a warrant and charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse, neglect or endangerment, sheriff's Deputy Chuck Humphreys said in a report.
Sandra Callista Matthews, 34, of 635 Round Knob Road, allegedly committed the offense between Dec. 21 and Tuesday "by allowing her two minor children to smoke methamphetamine and has allowed them to smoke marijuana for a year in her house," a report said.
Matthews "has also on several occasions smoked drugs with her children, placing them in danger by allowing them to use Schedule II and Schedule VI drugs," the report said.
The teenagers are 15 and 17 years old, according to the arrest warrant served on Tuesday.
Bond was set at $30,000. Matthews' first General Sessions Court appearance was on Wednesday.
Her case was continued until March 5. Judge Kenneth Bailey Jr. issued a retraining order prohibiting Matthews from having contact with the children.
Matthews remains free on bond pending her next court appearance.
