Sun photo by Brian Cutshall

Persons involved in a three-vehicle crash, and family and friends, sit by the side of the Asheville Highway on Tuesday afternoon, awaiting an investigator with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The Volkwagen Jetta in the ditchline reportedly rear-ended the blue Dodge truck, at right, which in turn collided with a Honda Accord, officials said. No injuries were reported.

No injuries were reported in a three-vehicle chain reaction crash on the Asheville Highway, about a mile south of Greeneville, at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to a constable who was a first responder on the scene.

A Volkwagen Jetta, operated by Jordan McNeese, of Greeneville, reportedly rear-ended a Dodge truck, driven by Dustin Watford, of Greeneville, authorities said.

The truck then collided with a Honda Accord, driven by Debra Conner, of Greeneville, officials at the scene said.

All vehicles were northbound.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
