Country music singer/songwriter Pam Tillis will be the headlining performer at the first-ever Greene County Relay for Life MusicFest.
The planned two-day event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 24-25, at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
It is being organized by Greene County Relay for Life supporter Scott R. Swift, as a benefit for the American Cancer Society.
Tillis, the daughter of country legend Mel Tillis, is scheduled to perform on Saturday evening of MusicFest, beginning at 7 p.m.
She rose to country music fame with such 1990s hits as "Maybe It Was Memphis," "Shake the Sugar Tree," and "Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life)."
Advance tickets for the Pam Tillis concert will be available at the Tannery West restaurant, 227 W. Bernard Ave., every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. through Thursday, May 23,
After that, tickets will be available for purchase at the gate of the Greene County Fairgrounds on Friday, May 24, beginning 2 p.m.
The cost of General Admission tickets for the Tillis concert is $20 each. The cost of Preferred Seating (floor -- center stage) will be $30 per ticket.
Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
FRIDAY AT MUSICFEST
On Friday, May 24, the MusicFest will feature a number of local artists who are scheduled to perform beginning at 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds' Main Stage.
Gates will open at 2 p.m., with general admission tickets sold at the gate for $7. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

* Hillbilly Outlaws, 4 p.m.
* Bootleg Turn, 5:15 p.m.
* Sandy Ray & the Cold Shoulders, 6:30 p.m.
* J.B. & the Wild Honey Band, 7:45 p.m.
* Benny Wilson Band, 9 p.m.
SATURDAY AT MUSICFEST
On Saturday at MusicFest, gates open at 6 p.m. with the music set to begin at 7 p.m.
Local musicians Sandy Ray and Steve Winslow will open the show for Tillis.
Tillis will be available for autographs following her show.
Merchandise and food vendors will be available both days of MusicFest.
All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
