The theft of an entire barn over the weekend is under investigation by the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
The owner said that a former tenant living on his property in the 1800 block of Culbertson Road is the likely culprit, Deputy C.H. Jessie said in a report.
The former tenant is named as a possible suspect.
Before he moved out, he allegedly dismantled the barn, board by board, and took the lumber with him, the property owner told deputies.
The theft occurred over the weekend, and was reported to authorities Monday morning.
The value of the barn lumber is $7,000.
