Rabies Vaccination Program Continues

The 2013 Rabies Clinic Vaccination Program continues through Thursday, May 9, as well as on Saturday, May 11, and Saturday, May 18.

Cost is $9 for one-year vaccinations and $12 for three-year vaccinations.The Greene County Health Department and local veterinarians are sponsoring the program.

The state requires dog and cat owners to vaccinate all pets for rabies.

The clinic schedule is:


* Caney Branch Fire Dept., 6 p.m.;

* Greystone Ruritan, 6 p.m.;

* McDonald Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Baileyton Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Glenwood Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Chuckey Elementary School, 6:30 p.m.;

* Romeo Community Center, 6 p.m.;

* DeBusk Elementary School, 6 p.m.


* West Pines Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Camp Creek Elementary School, 5:30 p.m.


* Clear Springs Community Center, 6:30 p.m.;

* Mosheim Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Old Sunnyside School, 6 p.m.;

* Ottway Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Doak Elementary School, 6 p.m.;

* Greene County Fairgrounds, 6 p.m.;

* Tractor Supply, 5:30 p.m.


* Animal Medical Center, 1 to 2 p.m.


* Animal Medical Center, 8 a.m. to noon;

* Rocky Top Veterinary Hospital, 8 a.m. to noon;

* Humane Society Shelter, 10 a.m. to noon;

* Duckworth Animal Hospital, 8 a.m. to noon;

* Vet Care Animal Hospital, 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.;

* Animal Medical Center, 8 a.m. to noon;

* Greene County Vet, 9 a.m. to noon.
