A possibility of snow is in the forecast for the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.

Today's high is expected to be 46 degrees with a low in the evening of 27 degrees.

Some isolated-to-scattered showers are expected this evening, which could turn into snow. One to four inches are expected in southwest Virginia with a dusting in the valley region.

High tomorrow is expected to be 40 degrees, with a low of 24. The next chance of rain will be for Friday evening, with rain changing to snow early Saturday.

Expect snow to transition to rain during the day and back to snow Saturday evening, continuing until late Sunday morning.
