Overnight snow showers left icy spots on roadways on the south side of Greene County, according to Road Superintendent David Weems on Saturday.

Crews have been out scraping roads and laying salt since 4 a.m., he said.

Main roadways are now clear, but some secondary roadways may still have icy spots, especially in the Camp Creek community and on mountain roads, Weems cautioned.
