Greeneville police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins early Thursday in neighborhoods off Old Shiloh Road.
A resident of the 100 block of Pine Straw Ridge told police two of his vehicles were "ransacked," a report said. A Tom Tom GPS unit and $10 in cash were taken. The GPS is valued at $300.
The vehicles were unlocked, the report said.
The owner of a vehicle that was broken into on East Point Trace said a GPS unit and checks were stolen from her car, a report said.
A Droid touchscreen was taken from an unlocked car parked in the 100 block of East Pointe Trace.
The son of the owner saw a young male about 12 to 15 years old with "blondish hair" running away from a car about 1 a.m. Thursday, and leaving in a silver Mitsubishi car, a report said.
