Snack Time

Sun Photo By O.J. Early

This brown-and-red squirrel was spotted Tuesday munching away happily on a nut, on the deck of a home in Mosheim. The squirrel snacked for several minutes, leaving small piles of fragments behind when it finally scampered away. According to National Geographic, squirrels, like other rodents, have four front teeth that never stop growing — a plus since the furry critter constantly crunches on nuts, acorns and seeds.
