Spat Over Onions On Order Turns Bitter At Restaurant

An employee of a Greeneville fast-food restaurant reported that she was "intimidated by a customer" on Monday, police Officer Josh Pierce said in a report.

The employee of the Krystal restaurant on East Andrew Johnson Highway told police that a man who went through the drive-thru was upset because "he had onions on his burgers when he ordered them without onions."

The man "began throwing them against the front glass of the business," the report said.

When the employee went outside to ask him to stop, he threatened to harm her, the report said.

The employee told the man she was calling the police "and he sped off in an unknown direction," the report said.
The suspect was driving a black Toyota truck. A partial Tennessee tag number was given to police.
