Sheriff's deputies are trying to get to the meat of the issue after 36 cases of spoiled ham hocks ended up on a property in the 5200 block of Fish Hatchery Road.

The spoiled pork and some building materials were found dumped on the victim's property and inside a barn, a report by Deputy David Love said.

The ham hocks were left on the lot between Monday and Wednesday afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation.
