Sun Photo By Kristen Buckles

A 1993 Ford van driven by 18-year-old Brandon McQueen pulled onto U.S. 11E from the Kingsport Highway (Tenn. Rt. 93) about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday in front of a 1996 Norfolk Southern Chevrolet sport utlitity vehicle driven by Marcus Dennis, according to early reports by the Greeneville Police Department. McQueen stopped at the Stop sign but pulled out in front of Dennis, according to Police Capt. Steve Hixson. McQueen was transported by Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services to Takoma Regional Hospital, where he was treated and released, according to Media Relations Specialist Tina Chudina. The van was a total loss while the SUV received damage to the front end and hood, according to the early report.
