The 24th annual Taste of Greeneville event will be held Tuesday, May 7, at 6 p.m. in the General Morgan Inn Ballroom at 111 North Main St.
Local restaurants will provide attendees with samples of food, drinks or desserts from decorated spaces.
Some vendors will offer coupons and specials for those in attendance.
Proceeds will benefit programs of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) Greeneville Woman's Club and Main Street: Greeneville.
The two organizations serve as co-hosts for the event.
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
Invitations to participate have been sent to many members of the local food industry, but Jann Mirkov, executive director with Main Street: Greeneville, said anyone interested in presenting this year should e-mail a request for registration forms to (director@mainstreetgreeneville.org) with the words, "Taste of Greeneville" in the subject line.
Mirkov said, "Each year we hear from interested vendors that we missed getting in touch with; so if you are out there and want to join us, please e-mail me with your request for information as space is limited."
