The 24th annual Taste of Greeneville will be held on Tuesday, May 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at the General Morgan Inn.
Weather permitting, the event will be held on the terrace.
In the event of inclement weather it will be held in the hotel's ballroom.
All proceeds will benefit the programs of two local non-profit organizations: the GFWC Greeneville Woman's Club and Main Street: Greeneville, co-hosts of the event.
The event is sponsored in part by the General Morgan Inn.

Among the 23 area restaurants and chefs offering "tastings" of food, drinks or desserts this year are two of last year's champs.
Back to defend their titles of, "Best Sweet Food" and "Best Display" will be Mountain View Bulk Food and Ingles Market #21 Deli, respectively.
The friendly competition will continue this year when once again the attendees will be asked to vote for their favorites in the categories of Best Savory Food, Best Sweet Food and Best Display.
The 2013 food vendors include: Angeez Catering & Sweet Shop; Applebee's; Brumley's at the General Morgan Inn; Casa Guerrero; Coca Cola; Creamy Cup; Davy Crockett Travel Center; Dunkin' Donuts; FATZ Café; Harris Country Meats; Ingles Market #21 Deli, Asheville Highway; McDonald's, East Andrew Johnson Hwy. at Hwy. 107; Mountain View Bulk Food; Pal's at Greeneville Commons; Pizza Inn of Greeneville; Premium Waters; Professional Vending Services; Rocky's Pizza; Sunshine's Kitchen; TCBY; Top Dog Catering -- Ella's; Top Dog Hot Dog Stand; and Zaxby's of Greeneville.
"We are so pleased to have all these professionals participating in this year's event," said Jann Mirkov, Main Street: Greeneville executive director.
"It is a great way for the vendor to connect and introduce their product to the public. Several of them will be offering coupons that only those attending will have access to," Mirkov said.
24 YEARS, GOING STRONG
Ann Van Buskirk, chairman of the GFWC Greeneville Woman's Club International Outreach Committee and one of the event's co-hosts, said, "it is hard to believe it has been 24 years since we started hosting this event with Main Street: Greeneville."
"It is a great way to sample an array of food from our area chefs all under one roof, or in the case of this year, on the terrace.
"We look forward to a sellout crowd," she added.
