Plans are now being made for the annual free "Thanksgiving With Friends" dinner sponsored by Northern Greene County Churches -- United In Love Ministry.

The date will be Wednesday, Nov. 21, starting at noon.

There are three options:

* The Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. at the Union Temple Free Will Baptist Church Activities Building, 9680 Kingsport Hwy.;

* or individuals may pick up dinners at the church between those hours to take out;

* or meals will be delivered to homes if needed. Persons wishing to have meals delivered must call one of the numbers listed below to provide address, etc.

"All we need to know is how much food to cook, so call us at 348-7758, 234-2042, or 257-8926 (after 4 p.m. only) by Monday, Nov. 19," a spokesman said.

The sponsors added in a news release, "Has this year been particularly difficult for you and your family?

"Maybe you lost your job? Are you dealing with an illness?

"Maybe you're just alone and could use some company?

"Well, come have 'Thanksgiving With Friends.'"
