Greeneville's The Band Perry is scheduled to be among the presenters at the 44th annual Country Music Association Awards set for this Wednesday evening at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The awards show, which will be hosted by country entertainers Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will be broadcast live on ABC, beginning at 8 p.m.

According to Country Music Television, other presenters scheduled for the CMA Awards include: Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, Luke Bryan, Easton Corbin, Little Big Town, Jerrod Niemann, LeAnn Rimes, Chris Young and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.

The Band Perry, which consists of Kim Perry and her two brothers Neil Perry and Reid Perry, have also been nominated for the CMA's Vocal Group of the Year Award.

They share the Vocal Group nomination with such big names in country music as Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and the Zac Brown Band.

The Perrys are the children of Greeneville pediatrician Dr. Stephen Perry, and his wife, Marie. The family moved from Mobile, Ala., to Greeneville in 2002. Dr. Perry is a pediatrician with Greene Mountain Pediatrics.

Kim Perry is the group's lead vocalist and plays rhythm guitar, Neil Perry plays mandolin, drums and accordion, and Reid Perry plays bass guitar.

The trio's first album, which was released Oct. 12, has already produced two hit singles, including their debut "Hip to My Heart" and their current "If I Die Young."

Miranda Lambert leads the first round of CMA Awards nominations with five, followed closely by Lady Antebellum with four and the Zac Brown Band with three.
